Simota Intake fit question
Ok, I was looking at this
to get for my car, but i have a 08 328xi there is no mention if it would fit on the xi series. Anyone have this mod on an 08 328xi and/or knows it fits? |

any how, this intake has been out of production, so i doubt you can get one not used.. Cause I wanted to get one as well..

not really... no intake (other than the new Injen short ram) has made any substantial gains on a dyno (more than 1 or 2 hp).

My intake I guess made power, but I dont think so. I only made 196whp on
a dyno dynamics with intake and exhaust which would be 221whp on a dynojet. The 328i with Injen intake made 21Xwhp on a dyno jet with an automatic no less. I think my car is under what its supposed to be making in power. I mean it was 100 ambient temps on the dyno. The 328i was on a cooler day, oh well. The first run I made 205whp, which would be 231whp. They dyno guys said it was wrong I want the Injen, because I know it is proven to make power and not lose power when its hot outside like my AFE. My AFE does work really really good when its under 80 degrees though. /Rant
