really???
first day i have it on my car: hit a pothole, wheel damaged!

after 8 months of driving (about 8000 miles): a lot of chipping on the steplip!

LC is a great wheel for the price.

but you know why you pay more for a high-quality 2/3-pieced wheels (BBS, DPE, Work, SSR, etc.)

wow that's some bad luck then because i'm on my second set of LCs and not because the first set got damaged. My first set were the Lemans and I had them for over a year w/out any problems. I ran over a few potholes and it sounded like my wheel got jacked up but i was impressed that it stood up. My step lip never got any chips either. Maybe you got a lemon wheel or something? The only damage I got on them were some curbage due to my inability to parallel park under pressure

I'm currently riding on the Dynas and I love em. It has a fatty deep dish lip on the rear and I actually expected chips b/c of how deep the lip is. So far I got none. I agree that they are great wheels for the money but in my opinion I think they are worth a little more than what they sell for. Maybe I just got lucky with both sets of wheels but so far I have no complaints in regards to the quality or finish.

if you can afford bbs, work, and other forged wheels, congratulations. they are indeed very nice wheels. If not, I think LCs are an excellent alternative

i've had my lc lemans since may 2008. i was one of the first to get them when the e46 m3 offsets were first released.

my e90 is a daily driver and the lc lemans are on my car 365 days a year. california has some pretty piss poor roads and i'm always amazed at how well these wheels take the abuse. unfortunately, like joonsup, i do have some curbage on two of my wheels from trying to parallel park too fast.

all in all, i have been very happy in terms of how well these wheels have held up and they look great!

damn, sorry to hear that!

to be honest, LC's are really high quality wheels. I ran a couple different sets for a few months too and despite hitting potholes at high speeds and going through road debris, it held up fine. Of course all wheels will get chipped depending on the size, angle, and speed a rock will hit it or if there's a huge pothole and you go through it at 90mph, I'm sure any wheel of any make will be compromised.

my brother has Rial Daytona Race (2-peaced) on his E46 M3 and after 10'000miles he doesnt have one chip on the steplip....

i hit the pothole with about 50-60mph.... they are not cracked, but they have a bad radial run out....

compared with the Rials from my brother, the quality of the LC is bad and the finish is never that good as the finish at the Rials.

BUT for the price, the LC are good wheels!

He's using coilovers, but H&R race would achieve a look very similar to that.

btw, my PM box is clear now, sorry about that

guys, dont understand me wrong. every other wheel can be damaged by a pothole (also OEM wheels) and about the chipping I contact my dealer where i buy it (warranty).

I still be really happy with the wheels and the choice i make with LC. I def. would buy it another time!
I have a lot of compliments for the wheels from other peoples.

by the way: here one of my fav. close up shot from the wheels

here's from my personal experience. seems like everyone has their own experiences with the wheels, rather it be good or bad. as long as at the end of the day you realize they hold up well enough. although i haven't had an orthodox experience, honestly if they bend, they can be repaired, if they chip they can be re sprayed, this is sometimes the nature of a cast wheel. although in some aspects i may feel quality may need to be reevaluated, its assuring to hear that they have recognized some issues and are addressing them as any wheel vendor/company will. as a whole they hold up just fine for the price you pay. i have gone through the works in terms of wheels. talking about my PFS, mine haven't cracked down the middle and have held air fine. think they were made to be an alternative to some of the overpriced wheels out there offering good looks and a lower price. they have sold tons of sets on the east and west, so, what can you say. seems everyone has a different experience, just the bad seem to get more attention. my advice is to suck it up, complaining about them will not make it better, i've been dealing with Zoeb for a long time. many people try to play the system so understand this fact first, not saying i or any other member here have just realize there's some things that you can't hold/prove them accountable for and its honestly a waste of time for both parties. anyways, i'll post up pics of my hyperblack PFS/Space grey later on this week, seems like there arent many here. i guess get back to me on the wheels zoeb..
