I don't know how a tuner is supposed to see the data to know if they tripped the code. I have heard that the dealer does not see this type of data, that it is transmitted back to BMW AG directly. Maybe Shiv gets to look at it somehow?

Progman 30 works fine at least with JB2. I have a friend who had to replace his DME due to broken pins and he now has a new DME with Progman 30 and it works!!

It's not if it works or not, I'm sure it will work but will BMW know that you have tuned your car.

Ask you friend to take it back to BMW to have his oil changed, see what they say
