Cree Angel Lights Gen 2 - E92
hey guys!
so yesterday met up with Teddy @ www.ssdd-motorsport.com to test out the new Cree LED Angel Eye Markers out... bulbs were priced at £60 here are a couple of pics drivers side has the new Cree LEDS and the passenger side a standard LED bulb.. indoors this is how it looked with both Cree Bulbs overall i am very pleased with the results, these bulbs have a slightly more blue tint to them too! there are a few questions on whether they fade out when the car is locked and the answer is yes they do...here is a quick video i took last night of them... thanks for looking |

lol you can see the light reflections on the car...say around 7ish
naturally with pre LCI lights they will never be a patch on the LCI! IMO these are the brightest i have seen a set of pre LCI without going the HID/LUX Bulbs route |

mate,
the cree chips have come in 2 different sorts as you know... 4 x 2.5 w LEDs (GEN1) 2 x 5 w LEDs (GEN2) these are shown in the picture below... having had both fitted to my car yesterday i felt that the 2 x 5 w bulbs were slightly brighter for the E92, this may vary depending on what car the bulbs are being used on. this is a picture that Teddy took yesterday (sorry for the advertisiing but this is taken off his facebook page of my car) this shows the two different bulbs against each other |

I had a look on ebay and notice that it looks like there is a 20w 4x5w version avalible to pre order. They look expensive at £120, but I would have thought would be much brighter.
Has anyone any experience of them? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-ANGEL-...item3377c3a8b3 |

I'd say so mate! I'm pretty happy with mine! They are never going to be as bright as lci and I'd rather spend the extra on other mods

Hey guys I've got the 20w ones on my car they are cree 4 x 5 watt chips on them from car mod shop. I know this is a night picture but this is how bright they are on the drl setting only no dipped beams. Fit is perfect and come with 1 year warranty. Ive had the 2x5 and they arnt a patch on these. You may get some discount if you phone them direct.
