chips/dent/scuffs
hi guys just looking for some opinions. if you had a 7 year old car for sale with high mileage, would you bother to get all the minor stone chips, car park dents and bump scuff sorted before you sold the car?
considering its age/mileage and the amount you would need to spend to sort out all the bits and pieces, is it really worth it? i popped down to halford yesterday to get a rough quote and was told between 60 to over 150 pounds per item! i got 3 main bits to tidy up if i choose to do it, so will need to spend about £250-300 for something so menial. it doesnt make sense to me, and would definatley not add £300 to the value of the car which is mechanically and electrically sound. am i going mad? |

prehaps price the car a little higher than u want, then when the buyer sees the dents etcs, and makes an offer hopefully it'll be in line in what you want for the car.
