Suspension?? What should I buy?

My Main Goal...

Ride comfort with 19" setup on Boston's horrible streets.

BBS RSGT (E46 M3 offset)
Front 245/35/19
Rear 275/30/19

I am about to pull the trigger on a set of H&R coilovers, because they are cheap, about $1,250 new.

All thoughts and comments are appreciated.

Thank You!

Turner sells the H&R kit and they are really close. I might do it because I can have them tomorrow or Friday since they are in MA.

Where can I get the KW coilovers at a good price?

Or Bilstein shock with KW springs?

Don't do just springs.

I'd be very hesitant to get coilovers on our streets. If this is a daily driver and won't be substantially tracked, I'd look hard at a spring/shock combo rather than coils. you'll get a much better stance and improved handling, braking and balance, but with more comfort.

Those freeze joints on 93 north of the city, or the delaminated top coat on route 1 with coilovers would be a disaster.

you'll save a few hundo too.

$0.02.

So would a spring/shock combo be a softer ride with a 19" setup than coilovers?

My wheels are being powder coated and I assume it will ride hard with oem suspension.
