Default 3100 low boost mode engaged cell displayed?

Anyone no what this is? Getting this code along with half engine symbol, car studders and shudders and is hard to start when this happens. I have gotten it to go away and car ran like a beast but it's back again and not sure what is causing it.

I searched found a few who were having this code but no real answers to the issue.

3100 is just limp mode. It could be a million things. There should be other codes along with 3100.

Yeah a bit strange. I've always seen it coupled with another code. I saw where Terry suggested you may have autoclear on but I thought that would clear the 3100 too. Looks like you got your axle fixed and are back up and running at least.

3100 code is indeed a code that should come up along with another code at all times. 3100 just indicates limp mode but the cause should be there indicated by the other code.

MUSC, Yep back up and running again. You and I need to meet up soon. Hopefully after the New Year i will head down there for a meet up or something.

PTF thanks for the input i will make sure autoclear is off. She seems to be doing fine again weird, she has been very temperamental lately.
