quick question
the person that would be installing my cold air intake says i might need to buy a new sensor too. How do i know if i need to?

The only reason I could see for you to need a new sensor (MAF) after an intake install is if your installer is clumsy enough to break it. Almost all intake installation instructions I've seen say "Be careful not to mess up your MAF!". Are you aware that our MAF costs nearly 300$?
