E92 side repeaters

Mine are starting to look mouldy from inside the lense, I think the seal has gone. I would like to replace them with smoked/lightly tinted ones. Anyone have any reccomendations?

I have looked on ebay and found a led version but not sure how good they would be?

don't waste your money - I bought these for my 1series and from a more reputable site than eBay.

They looked alright BUT they flickered a lot when not supposed to be on and just felt cheap eventually so put the originals back on.

Another reason why I did not go with the above is that I read the clip on the back is made out of plastic rather than metal like oem and has a tendancy to break

Let us know what you think when you've fitted them.

The originals in my E91 are stamped Philips at the back and are not really of good quality either. The driver's side repeater was hanging loose one day and close inspection revealed that the plastic holder bit that holds the metal spring had broken and the metal spring was lost in the car innards for ever. I made another metal strip spring (diy) and glued it to the original half broken holder and put it back in place. Let us hope it holds on. Now I am waiting for the other side to hang loose soon due to plastic fatigue. Swedish BMW forum has quite a few of their members with similar problem. Original repeaters are definitely no better than the Taiwan copies!
