Very recently a friend of mine had the 335 I've always dreamed of - literally my dream car. I mentioned to him that if he was ever interested in selling his car to let me know and I'd buy it. Forgetful as my friend is, and wanting to upgrade to an M3 coupe, he traded in his 335 for 22,000...As we all know, dealerships pay the bare minimum for trade ins so that they can mark them up and resell them for a profit (clear and obvious business). This ad is for anyone who is about to or thinking about trading in their vehicle anytime soon...Instead of trading into the dealership, I will pay the same price as the trade-in...help out a poor BMW hopeful and finally let me get into my dream vehicle

lol. there is two reason i would choose to do trade-in over this if i ever want to get rid of mine.
one, dealership will likely be throwing better deal on new vehicle, two i get trade-in tax benefit (at least in WA)...
but good luck finding one...

lol, so do i. most people dont want to be bothered though. its quick and painless to trade it in at the dealer. and as already mentioned, the dealer often gives a better deal on the car you are buying. you are better off offering to pay $500-1000 over trade value

ps, if you are broke then you dont want a bmw anyhow, especially one thats out of warranty!
