Single Turbo 335i with just a 3.5" downpipe
Sounds like crap, my muffler hasn't been delivered yet and I have a few exhaust leaks to fix. But after working on the car since last Sunday, I needed to hear it run again. I'm sure the neighbors hate me even more after this one.
More information about the car can be found here: http://roycormier.net/projects/singl...-e92-bmw-335i/

If you can leave black marks on a straight from the time you exit a corner till the time you brake for the next turn....... Then, you have enough horsepower. |

Cool idea, but why not just put a 2JZ in it?

Sounds like a leak to me, as stated by the OP.

Correct, the exhaust ticking is mostly due to the fact that I haven't welded the inserts into the header flanges yet, they extend into the head and seal with carbon rings. I could feel the exhaust leaks from there. The other ticking which has a slightly different tone is from the DI injectors.

What are you expecting as far as power output is concerned?

My main goal for now was to replace the stock turbos that smoked, i don't want to be the first to blow one up since this is my DD, so I'll watch the HP/TQ progress of others and turn it up from there. I still need to test out my ideas on tuning with the external WG.
