Check out my BMW pick-up truck!

Well, it's not really mine, but was spotted around my town. As best I can tell, the owner used the bed from a Chevy Colorado, but whatever it is, the result is excellent. I'd love to have this in my garage.

That's kinda... I'm not sure. I can't believe somebody did that, but it does look like it was done well. BMW should make trucks, that's for sure. I would be driving one and not my 335. ...yep, I'm from Texas.
Trucks handle like crap, and I bet BMW could change that.

I remember this thread from somewhere else. Guy took a wrecked car and made some lemonade. Great job imo, though I'm not really a pickup truck guy (except when I need to borrow one, lol).

Done pretty perfectly judging by that other forum link. Not easy by any stretch, but I can only vouch for the integra front end I put on a civic. I can imagine this was ten times harder.

Same one that was on Jalopnik a little while back? If so, it's pretty well done indeed.

That is where you guys are wrong, I don't think he built the BMW pickup to haul junk around, you guys simply cannot think out of the box Not all pickups are built to haul junk.

Not bad looking at all and very unique, but just a complete travesty to BMW heritage. At least it's nowhere near as bad as this:

I can think outside the box, I like pick up trucks my father just bought a 2010 Silverado and its a very nice truck he never uses it to "pick-up" anything. But the whole idea of a BMW is suppose to be "sporty" and I don't find that wanna be El camino sporty or pleasing to the eye at all. To generalize, it you like trucks, buy a truck. Don't try and build one, just my 2 cents worth.

Reminds me of the pre war stort of someone who did that to a Rolls in OZ. RR was "not amused" and refused to sell any spares or any further cars to the "blasphemer". Apparently they ran for decades - the the chagrin of RR.

No you did not think outside of the box, you dad did. A Silverado is built to haul stuff, the fact your dad decides to haul nothing with his Silverado, he is thinking outside of the box

I hate to say this, but I think this looks better than the new 5 GT.
