How to disable the automatic volume increase?

Can I do this? I read through the manual, but couldn't find anything. I have the Logic 7.

TIA

If you have iDrive press your iDrive to get into the menu. Click on "tone", go into "speed related volume" then turn it down to the minimum setting

You can also do it without i-Drive. Press the button shaped like a musical note. You may then have to scroll to additional soft buttons by pressing the soft button right arrow. In any case, look for the soft button "S-VOL". Choose that. That adjusts the speed dependent volume.

I always assumed the same thing and would not have guessed if I hadn't noticed it in the manual.

you can't really disable it. you can set it to 1-bar maybe. you're still going to have some increase.

Huh - I will have to try turning this down. I find it kind of annoying, because it adjusts the volume in what seem to be strange increments, even where there really isn't much additional road noise.

I think it may also be based on engine speed. I also found it annoying, as it wasn't consistent. Sometimes the volume adjusted nicely, and other times it increased too much. I have it set to one now. Too bad you can't disable it completely.

Wish my E93 had two settings

I wish BMW would make two adjustments available, one for when my top is up and one for when it is down.

There has to be some way to disable this completely. Maybe through coding?
