#5 rod bearing spun..Looking for parts
Just turned 80k on my E90 N54 and started to have an engine noise. From hardly hearing it to tear down was two weeks. Looks like ill need 1 rod and a crank. Ill start going threw the yellow pages in the Denver area this week. Any help who to call would be great. Also ill need to rent or buy alignment tool for cams.
Thanks Matt Im in Grand Junction CO area Last edited by Bugs; 10-21-2014 at 11:05 PM.. Reason: forgot to put the state i live in |

I did try some shops on both coast lines, but came up with the same answer. No undersized rod bearings for a N54. Thanks for the Craigslist. I forgot about those guys. I do my own mechanical work so i dont know what shops would have extra parts lying around. Im not to the bottom of my phone list yet so im still hopeful. Thanks again
