Windscreen Wipers water
Suddenly the water is not coming out. First I thought the container was empty, but I made sure it was full? Any ideas.

I had the same problem. you can hear the pumps working but no water coming out. the filter is clogged up. you have to take off the driver side wheel then the plastic guard and you will see the tank.

Put a spoon/a cap full of bleach in the reservoir then let it set for awhile then try pumping some water out thru the nozzle....the bottle do get clogged up with grime !
Make sure you wash the bleach water immediately after spraying so it wont damaged the rubber and paint. |

It is a very common problem. The washer additive goes mouldy blocking the pickup in the reservoir. The only real way to fix it is to pull it out (behind left front wheel) and wash it. Be prepared for a heap of slime and sludge when doing it.

common problem with the slime and blocked filter.
We use the WURTH number 0892333-L washer fluid this is the best and does not grow things in your water , when we service your car we use this stuff, it is a freebee. |

I wouldn't recommend using degreaser, as its insoluable with water and could cause streaks on your windscreen which wouldnt be good for visibility
