E9* ipod interface - Harmon Kardon SOLD
Had this fitted to my e90 for a while now.
Any interest? - £20? Aftermarket ipod interface by Harmon / Kardon - you get a controller and a display. No integration with steering wheel . Track names etc are displayed on the new screen. - You basically get a controller which mimics the ipod control wheel and a display that mimics the ipod screen. I have it setup with the display in the ashtray (sunglasses holder). The control is in the cubby hole you get with non idrive cars. pic1 In use pic2 Close ups pic3 Not in use Apologies re the quality - camera phone. Easy to fit - just unclip centre trim - wire in - pop trim back on. Main unit goes under armrest storage area. Powered by 12v socket in there and plugs into aux in. Unit has line in aswell.

Paul, does this use the Ipod too, and if so where does it connect the IPOD in, or is it simply an MP3 player on its own ?
Sorry bit baffled about how it works, but am interested in it - definatley. |

I've just removed it from the car - the ipod connects into the main unit (not shown on photos) - I had this under the armrest along with the ipod. Then you just control the ipod from the controller - it has a ring around the edge that rotates one way or the other to fast forward etc. The buttons mimic the 4 actions if pressing on the ipod (if you know what I mean)
