Automatic shift boot remove?
I've looked at the DIYs for removal tutorial but all the directions and pictures are for the manual shift knobs/boot. Can someone explain how to remove this please? thanks!

so basically there are like 6 clips for the boot. i think easiest way is to start from the left or right side and pull opposite, until the clip is released. it's not that hard but you want to be careful not to ruin the leather.

the six clips are for the leather part? or for the plastic part that the leather is connected to? Thanks for the help!

the clips are on that plastic base which is connected to the leather. its just easier to unclip by pulling on the leather.
and there are actually 5 clips. two on the left, two on the right, and one on the bottom, if you are sitting in the driver's seat. i would take a picture but my camera is in my apartment and not at my house. another way you could remove it is by removing the center trim first, but i think that's just more work.

IIRC, the process went like this for me
-remove shift knob (neutral, depress "trigger", pull straight up) -remove center console trim -unclip shift boot Once you have the center console trim off it is easy as pie.
