**Thinest 265/30/19 TIRE??**

So anyway, i picked up some new wheels REAR 19x9.5 ET20. Currently they have 275/30/19 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S. I havent received them yet but just wondering whats the skinniest 265/30/19 tire in-terms of width. Rubbing would suck so this is just a pre-caution incase i do. I head Toyo T1-R runs stretched, but what are my other options? Any info is greatly appreciated

265 is a 265 as far as I know. That is the width. The second number I believe is a % of the first which relates to the thickness of the tire or the height of the sidewall.

yeah, i understand tire sizes and such. Example 265/30/19
265=width in mm
30= 30% of 265mm (aspect ratio)
19= wheel size

my only concern is i hear alot of people say there is a difference when it comes to tire manufacturers and the tire widths in respect to their size. Toyo's are known to be abit skinny but are pricey.. any other options? I have michelin pilot sport A/S 275/30/19 for trade!!! 90% thread

General UHP's are narrow. Didnt like the way the 265's looked on my rims so I went with the 275's. Had to roll the fenders cus they rubbed a tiny bit but I didnt mind the sacrifice. Plus you cant beat the price of these tires.

Toyo's as mentioned above. However, I wouldn't count on a 265 toyo solving or preventing you from rubbing if you have a 9.5" rear rim with +20 offset. You may need to roll your fenders and have some camber adjustments done. Even then, you still may rub on big bumps, with a loaded car or on freeway dips, etc.

General exclaims are cheap lol.. i had them on my audi. not a bad tire, great for the money. I hate the sidewall design though with all those little ridges and such, makes putting on tire shine difficult :/

I agree, slightly negative camber would help. i noticed that stock setup has slightly negative camber in the rear hopefully its enough to clear

What kind of falken tires are good? or is it all of them?
