The main reason why brembo's do not fit xi...
I've been checking brake parts (calipers, rotors, pads, etc) for i and xi and found out that the part numbers are the same. The only difference i found was in... brake lines. So fitting the brake lines will make them work perfect. Does anybody know, am i right? Please reply!

I doubt its just the brake lines. A few members, including a local member SGXI has Brembo brakes on his 328xi. I believe his brake kit came off a 335 as well. =)
However, i test fitted front stock Brembo brakes off a 135i and they don't fit my 330xi. The spindles get in the way and custom brackets are the only way to make them fit properly. The same brakes fit 328i/xi though, so it all depends. |
