Maybe he can give some of that hair to Liuzzi.

Wait, no...that's too cruel.

Anyone else see the flow vis detail on the McLaren wing in FP1? They definitely weren't happy about the cameraman getting the shot.

Another pole for Seb. Mapping changes didn't make a difference. If anything, it was the opposite, since this guy set the fastest lap time ever. Let's see if tires and dual DRS zones make the race interesting tomorrow.

I wouldn't say it did nothing. If you look at all the times, Hamilton was only 0.400s behind him this time out.

More often than not, the gap has been around 0.700s - 0.800s. So you could almost say this cut their Qualy advantage in half. We'll see how the race does, and the next implementation of the rules in Silverstone may equal it all out. If you believe what they say about Red Bull's mapping advantage.

2 immediate things come to mind.

First, is that mid season bans are nothing new. F1 has a long history of tech bans, including mid-season bans. Some after only 1 race, some before the tech is ever used in anger. The 2nd thing that comes to mind is that F1 is a business, and the people at the top are just protecting their business from becoming stale, boring, or predictable. (With regard to the WDC)

Anyways, whether it is the right or wrong thing to do this isn't the first time bans have happened. Newey isn't one to be left out to dry I can assure you.

i guess i see the point that in-season bans arent new. but i thought even with the total RBR domination of the season most fans were really happy with how the season has panned out, it's got a lot of excitement built in already. i guess tomorow and silverstone will show how much slower RBR will be, but as proved today, that didnt slow them much. lets go Seb.

too good of a driver, too good of a car

the other teams are really gonna have to step it up if they wanna compete. Alonso had a great race, too bad the McLarens were so far of the pace

thanks for the link, worked great! I will be using that for now one, instead of SPEED, BBC's broadcast is beyond superior

1) Vettel has just too good of a car. I do think its done for the rest of the season. Vettel will win the Championship once again. He deserves it though...

2) Hamilton is getting frustrated, a LOT. Wouldn't surprise me if he makes a move next year.

3) HRT drivers need to GTFO and learn how to drive. My god they SUCK.

Yay Vettel!

It's not just that he has a good car beneath him... He manages his tires perfectly (better than anyone else on the field).

Hate all u want, he's proved his worth

Actually, Hamilton's post race interview completely denied any frustration this race. I think the announcers took a bit too much of a liberty on that call.

Couldn't agree more on HRT drivers though. Blue flag does NOT mean they are entitled to keep the racing line in a slow fashion. Absolutely terrible.

For the people who are pro Vettel; he is a great driver but certainly that must have been a boring race for you.

Another processional win for the 'great' Vettel.
