I got "smoked" by an Audi A3 2.0T few weeks ago. We started rolling off Lakeshore. I pulled ahead initially, and then he gunned it about a car length ahead by the next light. I did not break the legal speed limit or even reach 2500RPM for that matter (I was with my wife and a bunch of pot plants in the trunk), but it probably made the guy's day anyway

Other than that almost no one ever races me - the only time I got people revving the engine at me right and left was when I had numbers attached to the car between track days.

I have to say, when I was up in Quebec in the winter, the roads are scary... you literally have to drive around the potholes, even when I did not lower my car, I think I may have bottomed out if I drove over them.

Just to clarify - "pot plants" means house plants in ceramic pots, not something else, and my wife was not in the trunk. I'll get myself in trouble with this sloppy writing one day.

First: SLK not sure what the number was. my car was quicker.(if it was the AMG version then i'm sure i would have lost )

Second:
I raced an Acura TL , from standing at red lights to the next. That thing was slow.

Mostly i ignore people that want to race, but since i didn't drive for a bit i just wanted to let the car fly.

One of my buddies with an A3 drives a little "interesting" on the road..

It never fails to amuse me how the ones you know around you always seems to constantly remind you of their "hobbies"..
