so here's a story for you that just happened.. I'm taking this broad out, it's like 9pm, so we driving and this older c class tries to race, speeds up/slows down on the side, I don't pay too much attention to that, then few minutes later he somehow gets behind me, slows down and then floors it coming real fast behind me and then swerves right and zigzags around cars in front ... 20 minutes later at a stop light, some guy in a subary legacy looks over and I kid you not revs his engine and takes off so after everything is done I'm driving home and you guessed it right, older m3 speeds up/slows down few times.... I would give that e46 m3 a try but the dude tried to race on young st. share your stories

I usually wont waste my gas on any car, unless its a got an M// or an AMG badge on it.. ofcourse never on the streets though...........

i usually dont waste my time if i know i can beat them......but if a guy pulls up in a mustang or any of the dodge/chrysler srt8's....ill smoke em.
last week i was driving up to squamish and a guy in a mustang gt500 wanna play.....he backed off realizing he couldnt keep up thru the twisties.....

Actually I had a similar incident last night. I decided to get some subway around 11:30 last night and I'm driving on Marine Drive heading towards Granville St. in Vancouver when I casually pass this 4 door Civic in the far left lane. I'm not speeding and nor is the Civic but for no apparent reason the civic driver decides to speed up and starts to tailgate me and when I say tailgate, this guy is riding my ass. What pissed me off even more was the fact that the entire street was empty; there were no cars around so it was obvious this guy was trying to egg me on for a race or something.

So anyways I pull up at the lights and pull right up to the civic. The driver doesn't look over once, passenger gives a brief look but some chick in the back is staring right at me so I look at her and blow her a kiss. The lights turn green and I look over once more but the driver doesn't look over and decides not to race. I must get like 2-3 people trying to race daily, I can't really imagine what exotic car owners have to go through.

ohhh man... i dont understand how you guys have the patientance for ppl like that. If i would had someone do that to me i would have dropped a gear and wait for that milisec until my turbos spool and seeeee yaaaaaaaaaa... i would have done it jus to make him feel little with that girl inside hahaha. i enjoy giving ppl a good beating when they ask for it.

Just last nite a couple of ultra cool cars tried to race me and I actually took them on. One was a new gen ZR1. Surprisingly, I pull on him at the outset and kept ahead for awhile, but at 190km/h he started to pull hard on me. I shut it down at 230 as he was at least 10 car lengths ahead of me. Then the C63...my we were neck and neck until we hit 260. We both called it off at 285 km/h as no one could get an advantage and gave each other a thumbsup. My passenger, Misa Campo, of import model fame, was impressed.

wow. that's cool! I love racing stories. street racing is cool and is justified under all circumstances. racing is an undeniable Canadian right!

I drive a 325i and I always get Lexus and Infiniti drivers doing stupid things to get my attention.. I can't imagine what you 335'ers must go through.

I just ignore them, though it's fun to drop into 3rd and pass them on the 407 onramp.

when i still had my X3, some nut job acura integra driver with his 3 friends wanted to race me on the 403 around 4:00am. he stayed on my right side for 5 minutes and was high-revving constantly. after feeling ignored, he later found another nemesis in front or us, they raced and he got spanked.

I don't even give them a "look" when I can beat them like you don't even deserve my glance kind of thing. then when there is enthusiasts car such as M, and AMG speeding on their way. I tried to follow a couple of times and I was able to keep up with them no problem. of course on a highway, not on local streets.

I recently find those new pontiac G8s love to gun it around me, both V6s and 8s, I have yet to race any of them yet, but my patience is wearing thin....
