I get quite a few guys trying on busy 60km streets all the time, it's amazing what they will do to try and get you to go. I had one Mustang GT bug me for a good 5km stretch I wouldn't go but I was ahead of him for the on ramp to the highway(one of those clover leaf ones) so I gave it and just left him I could tell he was trying but just couldn't keep up. I slowed down and merged in and went about 110, he didn't even pass me, he got off at the same exit and at the next lights didn't even pull up next to me. Had a good chuckle.

It's almost the same engine as the STI (slightly smaller turbo, but even on stock turbo can put down more than a stock STI)

intake / exhaust / mild turbo upgrade (gt30) / pump / injectors ...
(which for that car costs less than many people here spend on wheels)

No one tries to race me 'cause they can never catch up to me in the first place.

I did go at it a few weeks back with an rs6 on the 407. We were more or less neck n neck, but then I let off at 250km/h 'cause I was running on my reserve gas. lol

douche this am in a 330 vert tried to show off to his girl by tailgating me (beaches area). sometimes its just hilarious the things people do to try to show off/race/etc... he was also wearing girly sunglasses, which made him more of a douche

Weird. I think it's a Toronto thing. I am _never_ challenged by anyone in my 335. Maybe it looks scary (it's black on black with tinted windows, black mags and black grille), or I dunno, but I only raced another dude in a 335 who took too many chances cutting around corners that I didn't feel right doing, and a Porsche who quite obviously whipped my ass.

Then again... with the roads being as they are, and my suspension being low as it is, I'm semi afraid to race for fear of ripping something off. So I guess it works out.

Ahhh... yeah, you definitely want a set of coilovers. I think mind rides pretty smoothly even though it's on mid-setting.
