ipod integration

Has anyone had the ipod cable installed in their glovebox by a dealer? How much did this cost? I got a quote at almost $800. Sounds absurd, but I have no real basis for comparison.

The over the counter iPod kits are slow and do not offer charging support for the current lineup of iPods/iPhone 3G.

Look into the mObridge kit, this fully supports all iPod models and can be updated by the end user as updates are available.
