Michelin PS2 RFT
I have 15,000 miles on my 2009 335i M-sport coupe. I am considering ditching the Michelin PS2 RFT for Michelin PS2 non-run flats. I am tired of the jarring ride on the crappy streets of Los Angeles. Will my OEM M-sport suspension work with the non-run flats? Has anyone made this exact tyre switch? Thanks!

I had those same NRFT's on my 2006 300i sport package...I would assume the ride between the 2 cars would be similar. I had no complaints with the ride. I bought the car used with them so I cannot compare them to RFT's. However, I was not uncomfortable with them at all.

Yes it will work fine with your suspension.
The Michelin RFTs are actually one of the better ones out there, if not the best. So the difference may not be as noticeable, but there will be an improvement by switching to NRFT PS2s I switched from 17" RFTs to 19" NRFTs and found the ride to be more comfortable in general, especially in terms of compliance with small bumps and road imperfections. |
