Thanks, man. Unfortunately no, it was the SL model but I was several weeks away from installing a bi-turbo that my friend had given me but then I never got a chance to. Losing that car sucked because I actually paid for it and it was in my favorite colorway (red ext./black int.) -- the paint was IMMACULATE because she was a garage queen.

Bought my 2006 used in 2010 and paid $17,400 with 49,000 miles on the odometer. Everyone thinks I spent $$$$. Shhhhhh, Bmws are cheap.

This thread is the deepest one I've read on this site - really makes one appreciate the BMW and everything else he/she has so far - so here's my story

Son receives accord coupe as high school grad gift

Son keeps it for ten years with modifications

Son becomes accountant

Son gets married

Son gets sensible Hyundai 2.0t sedan in anticipation of family

Father drives around in a lowered accord coupe with intake

Sons wife gets pregnant

Son drives pregnant wife to dealership

- Hyundai = 335i E92

Son goes to Vegas with his dudes

Son becomes father

The new father can't wait for his daily commute

Okay. Too Long Didn't Read

Payed it off early by that time I was still making pretty good money and had alot of saving and free income. So I caught the bus to the dealership (even thought I still had my Mazda) got off the bus right in front of the dealer talked to the same sales man who treated me like shit. He told me when I got on the lot I must have good credit or a cosigner to be back on the lot a laughed. I said no, test drove a 2011 335i coupe loaded (with said salesman) after the test drive I said I'll take it, he said let's try to get you financed and chuckled, I said no, "I'll be paying straight cash". He didn't believe me, or even noticed the draw string backpack I had with me so i opened it and he became the best salesman ever but it was to late, to teach him a lesson at the last minute I got another salesman who had just started there and said I'll take the silver 2011 335i coupe over there. The asshole salesman looked as me and the manager counted the money in astonishment. Didn't even needed the car detailed because it just had came off of the truck, it still had the plastic on the seats. So I got my BMW by working hard, staying focused, shitting on an asshole salesman along the way and 5000 off sticker and free CPO WARRANTY
Love this story! Always told myself I'd decide who got my money based on how I was treated lol

Hard work. It's a gift to myself for the ridiculous business travel time spent since mid 2010. Got an ok deal with 0.9% interest rate for 5 years.

Cash Money. Sold my 2004 Silverado in 2006 when mobilized Iraq. In the sandbox for 18 months. Wife decided I needed a nice car when I got home. Paid $38K USD (Silverado money + savings) to a dealer in Bahrain through the BMW military sales program in August. Picked up my 335i in Baltimore in October 2007 after getting off the plane. I love the car. 75k miles so far.

I wouldn't. Way overpriced after I've had one. Slight differences are not worth the money they demand

Worked 50+ hours a week so i felt like i deserve something nice to show for my hard work. Also i got bored one night and totaled up the amount i spent on my hatch (92 civic) and it came out to be 8500 not counting the price the car . realized i was dumb to invest that money in a honda so i sold it for next to nothing and bought the bmw
