I've tried to use them once and they refuse to mount any tires on a rim that was not purchased through them.

My new wheels should be here next week, so I'm going to give Tight-n-Tidy Racing a call about having my tires and TPMS removed and remounted on my new wheels.

I can't wait for the new wheels to arrive (Advan RS 18" in dark gunmetal.) I would have liked to replace the stock tires too, but I shot the budget on the wheels alone. Maybe new tires next year....

I got a great deal at my dealer...BMW NW. At the time (about 1 year ago) they mounted and balanced my new rims and tires for a grand total of $115. this included a Road Force Balance, which is something you should need IMO.

I also had them use a torque wrench instead of a gun, which they did no questions asked. they even bagged my old wheels/tires and place them in my car. company car of course, no way in hell I would put them in my 335.

Do they give you a RFB? If so, then hell ya...$50 for all 4 wheels is freaking great.

Well, wheels are here (YEAH!), but I've tried calling Tight-n-Tidy numerous times but all I get is voicemail. I've called around to a few places listed on Bridgestone's website that are listed as certified run-flat dealers, and the pricing ranges from $100 to $200, but all of them want a couple of hours to do it. That's not a problem, but I don't want to hang out at a place for a couple of hours! Since I'm home alone at the moment, I can't have the wife follow me down somewhere and pick me up.

Oh well, I guess I'll keep trying T-n-T and see if I get through.

Well that explains it! Anyway, Discount Tire in Bellevue was able to squeeze me and they did a fine job. Sure, it cost me $145, but it was done today and included RFB.

Conventional wisdom:
You can have it done cheap.
You can have it done right.
You can have it done quickly.
Pick any two!

When I get the car cleaned up, I'll get some pics. Sadly, the BMW center caps don't fit, and I guess I need some adapter rings. So it looks like shit in my opinion right now (rusty spindles and crap.) I have to double check, but I thought someone mentioned that the adapter rings are $50 EACH!

I'm thinking that black/silver carbon fiber center caps, along with changing the front and rear roundels to B/S CF emblems would look pretty good. I'm also thinking blacklines and a new grill are in order. I just don't want matte black grilles. Maybe gloss black or CF, but I don't recall seeing gloss black available anywhere for the E90....
