Most are cast. The current gen M6 and the new 19 inch E92/E90 M3 wheel are forged. Typically only the "M" models from BMW get forged wheels.

Most of them are cast, some are composite (cast/forged). Which specific wheel style are you asking about?

Just wanted to know in general, I was looking to change my stock 335i zsp rims to aftermarket csl reps, just wanted to know the quality differences. Now I gotta choose between VS7's powder black and Matte Black VMR CSL's, thanks for the info.
