After some email exchanges with the MD of HEL I'm a little disappointed with the deal.

The price he came back with (which includes direct delivery to each of you) is £85 for the 6 line kit and £55 for the 4 line kit. For comparison the rrp for the 6 line kit is £107 (dont know what the rrp is for the 4 line kit but I'm guessing around £70+)

This is for a minimum of 20 orders. We might get a better discount at 40 orders.

You can get the Goodridge lines on eBay for a similar price but they aren't coloured and according to Hel don't use as good quality fittings as theirs.

I need to get mine asap and am happy to go ahead but it depends on you guys, so who is in and who is out?

Must say that price for a 6 line kit isn't as attractive as I though it would be.

Considering you can buy Goodridge hoses for about the same delivered on various places on eBay makes you wonder

I'll contact brakelines.co.uk to see what they can do for 30 sets as well as HEL for 40 sets plus and come back with an update.

I reckon at £75 for a 6 line kit and under £50 for a 4 line kit it's a good deal (IF I can get them to do that)

I've tried all avenues at sorting this group buy and no one seems to want to play ball.

The original contact from the other forum had issues with his contact at Goodridge (they left!), HEL didn't offer a decent enough deal and brakelines.co.uk sounded positive initially and then didn't contact me again.

I'm afraid that after all this time and effort the group buy is effectively dead in the water
