What m3? E9x or Fx? You'd smoke any e9x without a doubt, I was behind a C63 amg coupe and he couldn't pull away from me and they are faster than the m3. And yours is faster than mine!

So I'd go hunting for m3/m4's if i was you. And my money would still be on you, unless they have tuned theirs?

Did you join the Facebook page for 335d's? I've put the link above.
The Bentley did look bloody massive, so over 2 tons isn't suprising.

It's only been 3 months ish since i've had the work done and unfortunately i have not seen one M3 that i could try it with yet. The Bentley was probably the first high powered car that i could test it against. But would love to see a C63, i think that would be a good match. Really need to take it to Santa Pod soon to get some data!

I don't use facebook unfortunately.

And yes he was trying, I even heard him blip down a gear before we went for it.
Sounds like i have a decent chance then

Driver or not it's not hard to put your foot flat on the floor! Which he DID because I heard it.
I think it will be close with Mo's 335 and a C63 but i know he wont 'smoke' one

After 100 the 63 just catches up and wen you full throttle these cars you get to 100 in a few seconds so the 335 may stay ahead for a few seconds

How do you know for sure?

I've toyed with one believe it or not, marknjayne knows for a fact and then there's the video link I shared.

Mo's has over 50 hp and and even more torque than mine.

Is there anywhere in the UK where we can test this? Somewhere long enough and legal?

I dont know nothing for sure and neither does mark. On the day depends who and who is driving each car so figures are only facts not opinions!

Mo's car has good figures and i can see that giving an AMG a good run and my definition of a good run maybe diffo to yours.

Yea Mo's would smoke one, and smoke is exactly what you get from a 335d.

If you are that confident, bring one if you like. We regularly go out for fun drives, and to find out who's got balls.

What is a good run in your eyes then? That video proves off the line it beat it with less power than Mo's.

Rolling start Mo's has more torque so i'm saying another one to mo. Plus mine was rolling so I know.

Track??

Neck to neck not just being a metre off his bumper and him not getting away

When youve got over 300bhp and someone else has an extra 50 or a 100 it isnt lightening difference wen its that much wen your against eachother IMO

Anyone can go in a straight line...

We really need to see Mo's car in action to be honest as

I need to get some proper data off my car, and i think best way to do it would be to go to Santa Pod and do a few runs. I can't believe i haven't been yet! I'm expecting our first baby next Friday so gotta go soon! Might go this weekend if the Mrs is feeling ok.

Tom: i agree a while ago i read that mapped 335d's were keeping up with C63 AMGs. I'd like to think that mine would at minimum be the same pace.

Fuel economy aside, which would you rather have though, a V8 petrol or a diesel?

I'd say hurry up and get yourself down to the pod because when your little one arrives they'll be no time spare and get ready for the sleepless nights congratulations on the addition btw. Boy or girl? I'm guessing that's it for the mods to, mine stopped when my 2nd arrived.

As good as modern diesels are, there's something about a tuned V8
