don't forget the lighter this time Floyd

I'll be packing the camera and give the local supermarket a quick sweep on the way up.

I'm sure they have their own cleaners, Matt- you could just buy some snacks & let their staff sort out the floor hygiene, unless of course, you really want to?!

I didn't forget it last time. It just didn't cross my mind about bringing one.

The attendance register is looking great!! 21 so far!!!

We need to all park in a line opposite the museum entrance like at UK1 up against the back wall - and no Fiesta's this time!

Whoever gets there first, save the back wall for us!!

I still think you are the best for that job, Floyd!

Seriously Floyd, if you could knock up the plates, it would be a great help.

That was a PITA, to say the least.

Here's a couple of thoughts I've had. I would have to have them (or any I provide) done professionally, i.e., not off my printer that is on its last legs, which will cost a bit. The place I contacted quoted about £5 a set (front and back).

I think a plain background, like your last plate will look clearer for photos, but whatever you reckon.

All the best.

The problem wasn't in printing the ones from UK2, it was cutting the damned blanks out of cardstock. It was easily four times as much time spent cutting them than printing them. I've been looking for a source of paper that is 220mm x 520mm but I'm finding it hard.

I've reserved 2 doubles (for me & probably the wife & 1 for the MF £59.95) & 3 twin rooms (for Floyd, Matt & Paddy £49.95) on my card, so you better all turn up!

Please can you let me know if this is ok, because I'll have to cancel the reservation if it's not.

Looks like we'll have a good night!

WOW!!! That really is close!

Ok, so unless you've already got food for the evening sorted can I recommend the Thai restaurant which is across the road from the HHH? It's called Chang Thai and is part of the Kings Head pub. Odd combination I know, but trust me it's good!

There are 3 pubs in the village. The kings head, The Old Talbot and the Hilton Brook. The first two I would describe as "locals" pubs, both are within spitting distance of the HHH. Typical low ceilings and lots of dark wood etc. The Brook is the newest, biggest and probably the easiest going of the 3 and is maybe a 5 minutes walk.

I guess my last piece of advice would be to keep your eye's open for A Green Volve S40, a Black E46 and silver and dark green Vauxhall Omegas when "cruising" along the A50!

Anyway, I'm off to prepare for the Derby vs. Brum match. I don't even like football but with a boss who's one of the clubs owners god forbid if I don't watch it!!!!

If you need to know anything else, drop me a line.

Two packs of Blu-Tack packed for those that want to avoid the hours of picking the double sided tape off the plates afterwards.

Had a look at the printers at home and they all have a max length of 355mm  I'll have to take a look at the one at work that might just be able to do something a bit longer whilst nobody is looking
