Does VPC do repairs to ED Damage?

I caught a rock during ED and My CA keeps telling me that the VPC does not do repairs to ED cars but that they will once it gets to the dealership. I'd much rather have the VPC do it who fixes BMW's all the time than the last shop that dropped off their card at the dealership.

Damage was about a 2" scratch on the hood from a flying rock and than bounced off the front windshield. The scratch was reported when I dropped it off the windshield was not.

Thanks for your help everyone!

The VPC will repair almost anything they can if they see it.Some customers point out damage when they drop the car off in Europe and some don't even know they had any. It's a good idea to have the car washed before you drop it off in order to check for any damage.I've had customers with cracked windshields, scraped quarter panels, cracked headlights, torn undercarriage ( he was run off the road in Bulgaria ) and even a 545 a few years ago with 14 K in hale damage the second day he had the car in Europe. It was completely repaired at the port on arrival in NJ,took two months, but came out great and BMW paid for the entire job.........

Thanks Irv! Hopefully it won't take 2 months for mine! Man I don't know if I could stand that long of a wait! Do you have any idea why my CA keeps on saying they don't repair ED? Are they trying to get more money by having it done at the dealership or is he just not informed?
Thanks

If a car sits at the port longer than normal, the CA can contact the ED office and they can track it down to see if they're waiting for parts of if they're doing repairs. If things are missed at the port, the dealer will do it and get reimbursed by BMW.
