It has to do with the ease with which you can dispute a charge on the credit card--imagine if someone claimed his USB cable was missing and decided to dispute a 52k charge on the AMEX. We've seen on this forum that people are ready and able to throw a tantrum over little things like that--imagine the headaches as a finance mgr. if these folks stop-pay on a full credit card charge.

It's true! Granted, my car isn't here quite yet, but I can't imagine throwing one of the fits I've seen around here regarding a stupid cable that has nothing to do with what the car was actually built for anyway, which is driving experience. That said, I will throw a SMALL fit if my cable isn't in the car.

We're in the same neck of the woods! I got my 325xi from Otto's. Back to the subject. Check out this website for some tips: http://www.creditcardtipsetc.com/cla...edit_card.html It does cost the dealership extra money to let you use your credit card, hence the additional fee the website above mentions. I put a $500 deposit down when I ordered the 325xi on a credit card.
