E92 Pricing
I looked for E92 335 early February 07. I live in Bay Area btw. I went to Stevens Creek BMW, BMW of Fremont, and BMW of Mountain View. All of them said the car was really hot. And it was. Stevens Creek only had 3, Fremont and Mountain View had nothing but they can take ED. I approched many Sales guy at least two at each dealership. SC didnt give me price deduction at all, OTD = MSRP + TAX. Mountain View gave me 1k only and Fremont gave 1.2K plus floor mat.
Please share ur thought about my situation. Did I buy the car in the wrong time? I also tried approached MB C350, I got it $300 below MSRP, out the door. But, I dont like Benz... |

Fremont will give you the best discount, though my encounter with their CA? wasn't the best. It wasn't their fault, but Vinh? was really slow at getting back to me about quotes, etc.
I got my 328i from Michael Borbet from BMW..not a bad deal, but I think I could have gotten 300 more off from Fremont...no worries though, these cars are hot so expect to pay a premium |

Yea, Vi Quach, he was really cool and nice on the phone, but poor with followup, nice guy, but I think he was just really busy trying to close deals....
I got 1.6k off MSRP on my 328i if you want a comparison or anything... (pre march build) I got it mid-march..I think pricing has changed a bit... |

Yeah it's going to depend on your area. Higher demand, higher cost.
My dealer offered $1800 off MSRP with me just asking "so what'll it cost me?" I'm sure I could get $2-2.5k off if I pushed them.

yeah I was in the same predicament a few weeks ago. I ended up ordering from a dealership in AZ (the dealer was recommended by some others on Bimmerfest)
- he gave me 1750 over invoice ($1155 under MSRP) and base MF. After including shipping the car up after delivery I was still saving money. In the Bay Area most dealers say nothing off MSRP and full markup on MF I would suggest getting quotes in SoCal and maybe out of state - I tried SoCal and Sac and got the same response ( nothing off MSRP and full MF markup) Goodluck! |

My local dealer gave me $1900 off MSRP and .0017 MF on a 335i coupe
I know station to station shipping via train is like $500 from CA to NY. August delivery? Kinda makes me think my dealers quote of "6 to 8 weeks" was just wishful thinking. |
