Yeah maybe best to start another thread, but very easy with a Nominee day trading account set up on line with Lloyds.. You buy low and sell high. At the moment its an ideal time to buy because the stock market is the lowest it's been for over a year!! Certainly paid for my last few cars and motorbikes!

Well I spent the morning cleaning and polishing my 335i with Turtle wax, Poorboys and Demon shine products. Looks like new. Who knows some one may be interested in looking at the weekend!!

All waxed up

All stocks are low at the moment.. If you bought £50k Lloyds today at current price of 34p then sell when they reach the average levels they were at in the Spring of 68p, then you have doubled your money to £100K.. I have doubled my money with Lloyeds many times over the last three years!! When I bought my current 335i last year, I almost went for a £60k AM DB9, but just couldnt bring my self to spent that sort of money on a car!!

Nick, what are the wheels on there - genuine BBS LM's?
Have you considered selling those and putting the MV's back on?
What might the LM's be worth?

Mike.

Mike they are LM reps.. Very good quality, but only worth £500/600. I do still have the MV's and would put them back on if thats what a buyer wanted.

Not really interested in selling wheels separately, as not interested in making a few hundred, wanted a few thousand from car sale to bring my share price averages down a bit.

EDIT

Lloyds back in the blue. Up to 35.56.. Once they reach the 40's I definitely wont be selling car

Put another £5k in yesterday, but still just over £20k down at latest prices. Even the e92 will leave me still way down. Wont see a decent profit untill Lloyds get back into the 50's.. Could be a few months off yet!!
Any one with shares held for more than a couple of months will be in the same boat as me, just playing a waiting game!!

Thanks. No interest on here yet, but only put it up for sale yesterday. I guess I could always try AutoTrader, but really wanted a quick sale at that price!!

Thanks Mike.. If I get no interest I will start with the upgrades like you have done with your 335i including an Evolve re-map or JB+, black grills etc. I have ordered some GP Thunder angel eye bulbs to match the Xenon headlights.

I'm very tempted as your spec is just what I was after.. except for the fact it's a petrol

I'm a petrol head through and through, so I never considered the 335d, although I know the performance is very similar. Plus the big diesel only comes with auto gearbox. I guess both versions look stunning in Black or White with the M Sport kit and twin exit exhausts But will you pick up an 08 plate 335d with under 20k miles for £19k!!

plus with oil prices tumbling, hopefully this will mean cheaper prices at the pumps!

Doubt it. Oil prices are approx 90 dollars right now (average. Brent crude is still over 100) and yet petrol is more expensive than when the barrel was 160 dollars 3 years ago!

OPEC are holding the entire western world over a barrel and f*cking everyone from behind. But no government is big enough to take them on.

Can't see fuel prices ever going down...

They might stay the same for longer but will unlikely come down.

I'm surprised you haven't gone for this Dave.

OK I know you prefer the diesel, but the 335i gives you far more room for manoeuvre on power mods than the 335D will ever give.

The 335i will always sound better than the D no matter what you do, the i will trounce the D in power stakes no matter what you do, and any cosmetic mods will suit any of the two variants.

If diesel was cheaper than petrol (which it once was) than I could understand, but with fuel prices the other way round, any petrol car is starting to make more sense.

Well I am surprised I havent had more interest in my 335i. I know how long it took me to find the right spec, colour etc. Thought it would get snapped up straight away.
To make things worse, another member just put his similar 2008 car up for sale at a similar bargain price.

Well if it sells before Lloyd shares start rising above 40p, and I miss an opportunity to buy at a bargain price, I will include the original mint 19" 225M (MV4) alloys in the sale, along with the lovely LM's fitted at the present.
