Avoided even looking at cars with this interior. Never though anybody would go to the effort of changing it.

Looks like your car never had creme dash.
When I bought the car the trim was the one I wanted, but soon got stalled with keeping it clean, don't think it's about the effort it's the challenge and the end result.

Thanks
Had a play around spraying and with a sponge, once it had dried both areas looked the same so did it with a sponge,

[QUOTE=AWBimmer;15733010]Incredible mate! How long did it take to dye the lot?]

With drying took 2 days but do do the work was around 4 hours that's including the parts in plasti dip

It's a semi Matt finish, to look at it you would think it's just a black dash

No update really just been in for Mot, passed with no advisors
It's back off the road now as I've sent my instrument cluster off for some work doing, so I'm going to take the headlights back out and do some more work on them, should be back together sometime late next week.

After putting my cream trim up for a swop I didn't get no takers with the same spec seats, so resorted to plan B, Been thinking about this for a while and last week I decided to go for it, so ordered an xl coral colour kit from the leather clinic, this is the 3rd trim I've done now so kind of getting used to the work involved,
I've so far done most of the rear so have are some pics enjoy

The kit

All prepped

Didn't take too may pics as just got cracked on and every time I took a pic had to throw the gloves away
Will update as I go

Garage List
Man I really want to do this but scared as hell to. Plus my seats are black. Probably won't come out the way I want it. As Jammy said, you got balls of steel my friend. Can't wait to see finished look.

you strike me as a man that is never satisfied! I loved the two toned cream... sad to see it go. But seeing the results you have previously created I have no doubt this will look just as awesome!

Love the do it yourself spirit!

Managed to get a bit more done this weekend I finished and fitted the rear....
Then decided I don't like it it looked too shiny. The kit I ordered was a matt finish but me been me had some semi gloss so went with that in the rear, it's a nice finish but too shiny, way too shiny.
I'm going to take it back out and wet and dry it then reseal with matt, but for now I'm on with the front didn't realise what state the leather was in it was very grubby and I always give it a once over every month, anyway got on with it
So hers the pics

Armrest was a right pain

That's crazy, but brilliant!! I'd love to change my black interior to red, but I don't have the skills/minerals to make it happen!!

Cheers,
Grant
