My 2009, 430 bhp, DCT E92 for sale

Hello all,

Please see for sale my BMW 335i Coupe which is for sale. I have agreed to purchase a new car and I have had a P/X offer and a couple of dealer offers (including one from Birds sister garage) one of which I will accept if the car does not sell privately relatively quickly.

This is a true once in a lifetime opportunity for a discerning 335i buyer. My car has the newer CIC nav, the DCT gearbox and the original and best N54 twin turbo motor all fit from the factory. She has covered only 52,000 miles with FBMWSH. The car is also modified to circa 430 BHP and benefits not only from performance mods, but also from a Quaiffe LSD and uprated ARB set fit by Birds garage in Iver.

Please see my pistonheads ad for more details and pictures:

http://www.pistonheads.com/classifie...--2009/2402392

I am aware this car is over the market rate, but not by much and you do get a LOT of mods. I don't need to hear about splitting it being a better option please, as I know that is a possibility in the future depending on what I decide to do. This is just a limited opportunity for someone to grab an absolutely immense car with all the mods well researched and done for a VERY low price.

Thanks
Matt

This one mate:

http://used.jaguar.co.uk/search#/details/2351152

Thanks for the comments. I'm genuinely hoping it can go as a complete vehicle to someone on here. It genuinely only needs a wheel refurb and it will be a stunner for someone.

I reckon if it goes up for sale with mods it will go up at close to £20k.

Hi mate,

I take it these mods mean the BMW warranty isn't an option...or am i totally wrong?

It's a lovely car!

Erm, I had a few mods on when warranty was in place Phil and they happily honored the only claim I made ( which was the air vents seemingly out of alignment.)

I think you're right that you could count out much of the BMW driveline warranty cover though. Gearbox wouldn't be covered and I think you'd struggle with turbos etc.

I can say honestly that it's shown no issues though. Only mechanical problem it ever had was the common HPFP issue (outside warranty) and since Darren Wood replaced it, it's been fine.

Your best bet would be a third party warranty and a friendly independent

I'll have a look Rudz (I'll need your mileage and options) but Jag need to clear my finance (or the buyer does) so it's not going to be straightforward. Also their part ex offer is pretty shit - my price of £16k is based on the dealer offers I've had elsewhere.

Is there any way you can secure finance ? If I take a deposit on my BM (to ensure a sale) then I can potentially afford to run the BM and the Jag at the same time. Could buy you maybe a couple of weeks.

If this doesn't go I can take it in a few months. Currently moving house and about to go between jobs for over a month and take a holiday. I fear I lose my last bollock if I WBAC mine for this .

All PM's replied to except yours Rudz, as your inbox is full.

In a nutshell, it looks like the CAP value for your car is 14.5-15k. They offerred me below CAP for mine and I negotiated them up to CAP, so that's probably what it would end up with for yours.

I want to make something crystal clear here as I have had 3 Part Ex offers. I DON'T want a PX and I am only really entertaining these offers at all because I am a nice bloke.

The first suitable cash offer is what I really want because imagine how it will look to the dealer if I ring them up and tell them I have 3-4 mates from all over the country with different spec cars that I want a trade in price for. I'm based in Leeds with a car that has finance, so any deal we might do would need to take into account clearing my finance - I doubt Jaguar will want to take your car in, use it to clear my finance and then fund my deposit etc. It will just be a shitload of hassle.

They are only offering CAP values anyway, which are comparative with WBAC. Here's what I can say - if I agree a deal with you and it means you WBAC your car for a low price, based on the fact that you will be expecting to buy my car for the equally low price of 16k, then I can ASSURE YOU that once I have a deposit and we have made a deal, you WILL drive my car away at 16k. I will not sell it to anyone else. I will not give a story and return your deposit with an apology. If you make a deal with me, then it will be final.

Hope that is clear and not too harsh. I am trying to work with all prospective buyers, but please consider the above from my point of view as well.

Rgds

Here's a surprise - WBAC just offerred me for £14,915 for mine, so stick your values in chaps - you might be surprised.

Right Ladies and Gents,

The timeline is as follows:

The suspension and exhaust is coming off on Friday, then the JB4, Intercooler, Air Intake and Diverter Valves are coming off on Saturday.

The downpipes, ARB and LSD will all stay on the car, which will currently be sold to WBAC on Monday next week.

Thanks for the interest, I will happily take a deposit to secure the car 'as is' before Friday.

Thanks
Rgds

Well you should get a bit of extra money back this way. Your price is amazingly good with those mods IMO and given the spec of the car, especially given some of the dreamer prices we see on this forum for 07/57 plates with naff all in them.

WBAC offered me 10k for mine back in January, they'll give me 10600 now, so they are pretty competitive IMO.

I just can't justify the extra £5k for a few more months Your car is exactly what I am after.

Hi all,

Now into what I believe are 'serious' discussions with 2 members which is great. I really hope we can keep the car in this community - I bought it from a member here too.

In the unfortunate event that the car does go to WBAC and gets split, then so far the first dibs are as follows:

Exhaust/DV's - Nobber
Intercooler - Merlin335i

Good the gear you have lots if options for moving the 335 on

I'll probably go down the WBAC route when the time comes...In theory do you have to tell WBAC about mods? I doubt they would even check for things like ARBs much less the diff??
