Hello guys,

I'm headed to Chicago next weekend for a little getaway and need a little help. I'm 26 .. So looking for hip/cool spots.

1. Hotels to stay at?
2. Places to see?
3. Good restaurants?
4. Good bars/lounges/clubs?

It would be nice if you stay close to the magnificent mile.

Go to Rush Street for nightlife.

You can't go wrong with anywhere you eat. Ask the concierge.

Shedd aquarium, Field's museum, zoo, Millenium park, Navy Pier... Or take the hop on/ hop off, or boat cruise. I have kids, so you might look for something else to visit. But what I suggested would also be good for guys your age with date. Maybe tickets to professional sports, shows.

Great city to visit. You won't be disappointed.

1. Agree with above. Stay near Michigan Ave.

2. Art Institute, Shedd Acquarium, Museums. If your into sports catch a cubs game at Wrigley. If its still warm, check out Oak Street Beach (only city I've seen where the beach is practically downtown). Navy Pier.

3. Chicago Pizza and Oven Grinder, Joe's Stone Crabs, RPM, Zapatista, Gino's East, Bar Toma

4. Hub51, Enclave, Y Bar, Board Room, Paris Club. Also check out Lincoln Park area and night.

Best city in the country by far. Enjoy!

I went to MID night club when I was there, that place gets top DJ's. A little small though.

Lovely city, architecture is the best in the US.

This is all excellent advice. I typically tell people to say over on Wacker and they have had good results, others may have different recommendations.

On the food thing, I typically take friends who are fans of good (ie older) SNL to The Billy Goat for hangover food in the morning.
