How long does these wraps last (assuming they won't last forever) and what are restrictions for upkeep?

Nice!

I'm interested in:

- gloss black vinyl wrap around window trim
- gloss black vinyl wrap on roof rails
- gloss black vinyl wrap on side mirrors
- smoky tail lights

Could u plz PM me the price for each of these. I'll then either do all of them or some; depending on price.

Thanks!

Hey Nick,
I'm interested in the interior trim wrap, just wondering where the location is for the wrapping and how long it would take approximately.
Also interested in the price for the whole car wrap. Do you know how well the vinyl holds if there is stone chips, scratches etc? Would the whole thing just peel off or would the chips stay localized?

By the way Nick, my roof is already wrapped in gloss black 3M. But the guy didn't do the side roof rails as he wasn't sure what to do and wanted to charge more...lol

That's why I'm interested in the rails only as opposed to the entire roof.

Thanks and can't wait for the quote!

Sign me up for the interior trim wrap, gloss black. Would love if a few more guys joined so we could save $10 lol. Nick, you mentioned the guy is only here for a few months - any idea what the time frame would be to get the work done? Thanks.

edit: would also like to know where the work would be performed. I hope it's within toronto.

Hey,
e90 or e92? what colour do you have in mind?

Yes, One piece is fine. Which Piece do you need wrapping done on?

The Vinyl lasts quite a long time, 5+ years.

The wrap job would stay on for at least 2 years on the exterior (interior is much longer). Given no one has peeled a corner or purposely damaged it. I drove around with wrapped 335 for the past 2.5 years, rain, snow and hail. Nothing has fallen apart nor peeled. Rock chips are the only thing, but thats for all cars.
If the vinyl is tucked in (wrapped around the panel) instead of trimmed off by the edge. That step will reinforce the the rigidity of all vinyl wraps. Night and day difference

Upkeep -
If its gloss wrap, don't use brushes at coin wash. That will leave scratch marks.
White or light coloured wraps, don't use vinyl cleaner and conditioner. it will leave a highlighter green hue to it for a few month before it slowly fades out.
Matte wraps gets stained with Gasoline, so when pumping gas becareful where that last drip lands.
Mr. Clean magic eraser is a must. I keep one in my glove box and one in my trunk. Its really magic.

Mirrors, I have not tired wrapping, since I dipped mine. Let me get back to you on this, ill go wrap mine tomorrow when I get home.

Clear protection on fog and head lights can be done. I will call ND graphics to check on the price of the Protection films. The films are easier applied with soap water. So ill get back to you on that too.

Roof rails can be done by them selves. PMed

Thanks!

It will be done in my garage in Vaughan, It will take about 5 - 6 hours. Im doing the complete removal and wrap around the panels.
Ill take the Panels off, and you can come back later that day or the day after, I will then install it.

It holds fine when there are stone chips. it acts almost like paint. Just chips off and the rest is fine. Ill post pics of my overly abused front end.

pm me the color you want on the wrap.

I tried updating the list as best as I could.

Ran will be checking this forums and helping you guys out with your inquiries, but I will help out as much as I can to keep things organized for everyone.

Side note, I have known Ran for two years now, and he is an honest good person to deal with. I would not have anyone work under my company that I do not trust.

Work can be done in 5-6 hours (except full car wrap), so for the work listed in my original post, you drop off the car in the morning, and then come back late afternoon and it ready!

Some people don't feel confident to use plastidip, I have seen horrible jobs (right Farley? lol).

Its an optional service, not forced. Some people don't like the lines of the vinyl in the antenna because it has to be done in two pieces, and some people like to plastidip their trim.

$160 is for vinyl roof, plus dipped antenna and trim. If people did not ask for it, it would not be offered.

There are reasons behind why its being offered as an option, it involves a response to demand.

But thanks for the trolling.
