They do make a "quite" one. These look like a good solution for us with straight pipes....wonder if they will fit side by side?

Put your old ones where your secondaries are and put the quiet ones where your mufflers used to be. Order it now and post vids.

Those quite resonators almost look like mufflers...hop they don't tame the note too much! I am a bit hesitant with this....4 resonators is a lot lol!

a local member has resonated dps, 2 resonators in place of secondaries + muffler delete.
it sounds very nice. very minimal drone or rasp.

i personally have electric cutouts. i have e-bay exhaust piping(painted black to prevent any possible rust) with stock muffler with cutouts rite before my resonators. quiet but beefy sounding for cruising around. cutouts for when i m out having fun and dont care about drone or rasp.
been running this setup for about 3years now.

They may look like mufflers but they don't have the wool or whatever that material is inside. I doubt it would tone it down. Resonators don't tone down exhausts, it just gets rid of the really loud noises (rasp). I honestly think itll sound awesome.

I wonder if I should get the 3" diameter inlet/outlet on the resonators so they can slide over the exhaust for ease of welding? Any thoughts?

The ultra quiets are like the bottle styled reso's on steroids, they should do a very good job at cleaning up rasp and shouldn't add any restriction to flow. The in cabin sound will most likely become muffled at low rpm, I'm not sure if that's a good thing or bad thing for you haha. I kinda miss the growl in the cabin I had before using resonators.

Resonator Size: 4.5" x 6.75" Oval Body, 10" Long
Overall Length: 14"
That's the specs if you hadn't already looked them up.

Are you doing the welding yourself or will you be having to pay labour to mess around with the setup?

If you have oem piping still left somewhere on your exhaust the 2.5" will slide over it

I am going with all new SS...no OEM...but this is great info....the OEM exhaust is smaller than 2.5"? I thought it was 2.5"? Is it 2.25"?

Ahhh ok sorry I must have missed that, that gives you a lot of options to play with resonator placement and such. The OE is 2.25" ID as far as I am aware, I was able to kinda slide the 2.5" resonators over top of the OE piping.

I am VERY glad you brought this up....I will check what the new SS will be...might be a tad bigger

Why don't you go with aluminum piping? It's much lighter and it gives a better sound IMO over steel.
