Non-Run Flats Recommendations please...
I've had it with the run flats. I've decided to go non-run flats and to utilize AAA in case of emergency.
Are there any particular non-run flats that are recommended for the 335i w/sport package?

No particular, but a lot of people praise Hankook Ventus V12 tires. They are great bang for the buck! If you got extra cash, you can also consider Michelin PSS or PS2.

check out Car and Driver's most recent comparison test of summer tires, on their website. Tirerak, com also has good surveys where buyers have rated tires, by attribute.
I have a 328i with sport package and have Continental Extreme Contact DW. Decent traction in both dry and wet, good treadwear rating. |

The 'Bridgestone Potenza RE970AS Pole Position' seem to be highly rated on Tire Rack. Any word on those?

Just stumbled upon the 'Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport' on Tirerack. All 4 for $650 and highly rated by BMW owners. Seems like a no-brainer. Might have to go with these.

Michelin Pilot Super Sports!
Yes, they are expensive, ~$220/each, but if you buy them from Discount Tire Direct, price match them! I was able to get them for ~$165/each! |

I installed a set on my 08 TL-S and they don't compare to PSS or PS2. Very good tire but not great. The steering feedback, stability and cornering are missing. I have PS2 on e90 and love them. You get what you pay for. |

The new BFGoodrich Sport Comp 2's are also very highly rated. A little newer model that came out, and still no Michelin, but built by the same MAST company as Michelin and shares some technology with their high performance line up.

This is what I am getting when I replace the runflats...great tire plus it is not directional so you can rotate side to side.

Continental DW. Great for rain, good for dry, and very quiet.

Absolutely awesome if you want an all season tire. I had these on my G37 sport and they performed flawlessly...I sold the car after about 5k miles so I can't speak to longevity but otherwise they are great tires.

I did some research on these as well and they seem to be a legit tire for the price. I'm looking into these for summer

I have 335i Sport pkg, I will be moving to Michelin or something other then these CECDWS. I feel the Rubber Material they used in these tires is not as good as others like Michelin so that cause lot of noise and a very uncomfortable Ride.. |

I recommend the Michelin PSS. I have them in 19" as my summer setup and love them. They are pricey but worth every penny. One of the best street tires out there.

OP: Do you want summer or all season tires?
If you want summer, the latest Car&Driver summer tire comparison mentioned by another poster provides great info. So does the latest tirerack comparison test of Max Perf Summer tires, as well as tirerack's survey results for Max Perf Summer tires. If you want all season, I recommend you look at tirerack's survey results for the various categories of all season tires. |

Thanks to those that referenced the Car & Driver article (http://www.caranddriver.com/comparis...mparison-tests).
The article reaffirmed my choice of the Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sports which finished 4th in the comparison. I was tempted by the Hankook Ventus V12 Evos but decided to go with the Bridgestones due to better wear. Thanks for all the advice given here.

I'd go with a Michelin PSS myself bmw isn't putting them on their M cars just cause they are on the cheaper end of high end performance tires.
They have good traction and wear well and evenly with a negative camber cause of bi rubber compound and Kevlar reinforced belts. BMW picks there tires for a reason and to be honest if you can afford to buy them they are the best all around tire for wear, noise, handling, and comfort. |

all i have to say about hankook v12 or sr3 when you read the reviews on tirerack sort them from lowest to highest and see if you make it into the good reviews.
for 150 a tire yea i guess they are ok and most people who are cheap will agree they are great for price and will think a PS2, PSS, PZero, or Pontenza are awfull for price but truth is if they are that great and PS2, PSS, PZero, or Pontenza are so bad why wouldn't Ferrari, Aston, Lamborghini, Maserati, Porsche, Audi, BMW and Mercedes who do extensive testing on tires for performance dry, wet, even wear and tire life switch to the above to pocket the difference in price. |
