Just a general update. I've had some things come up this side and hence wasn't able to get any further updates on Friday or Monday - but I'll definitely have something for you guys tomorrow morning...

Update

Ok, so I was around the molders this morning and this is what we have so far. The patterns for the Quad cut-out and the single cut-out with fins are ready. We need to clean up the fins slightly, just to make sure they're all 100% the same and that they are clean and sit flush with the top of the diffuser etc.

They're going to start on the molds for these two now and as soon as the molds are done for both of them we can make the quad cut-out with fins version. If I were to estimate, all of these will be complete within a month or so and we will be ready to start shipping.

Below are some pics. These are the patterns that we'll be using to make the molds. They are a bit rough still, so if you see a few imperfections, don't worry - they will be cleaned up

We are also going to change the top / side cut-line on all of them to make it follow the bumper lines more closely, so even though these look to have the shape of the first ones that I've produced, they will come out with straighter cut lines on the top / side.

Quad cut-out:

Single cut-out with fins:

Let me know what you think...

Does that mean you are going to make the top/side radii tighter? I still think the radii are too big and need to go up side more before breaking over.

I know you can't please everyone though

Other than that, they are looking good

Getting there and the progress looks promissing. Adjusting the top/side cut/radius line will help improve the looks further. Can't wait to see the finished product.

i guess both sides if they are more straight down without that big curve, it will look awesome

Basically I'm going to extend the top / side corners further outwards - basically making the sides more straight. So yeah, I think we're talking about the same thing

Thanks for the support!

Hey there

They're not available right now. Still have to make the mold from this pattern. Will definitely let you know as soon as they are ready!

Single side non-finned one is ready. I only have the ones that are cut as per the pics shown before in stock. If that's what you're going for I can hook you up straight away

You drive a 335, right? Unfortunately at the moment this will only fit the non-35 bumper...

Really sorry man! I want to work on one for the 335 too, but you might end up waiting longer

It's difficult to say, but I wouldn't estimate anything less than 6 months... If you're keen on waiting a bit longer. Else, if you do go with the m-tech, I do have a sweet diffuser that'll fit right in there available if you haven't seen it already. Just saying...

Check it out...

I am looking for the one with more straight down sides. Any ETA on this? Thanks!

It's coming along nice based on the recent pics. I agree that the more vertical sides will improve it. I also didn't think the fins would look as good as the non-fin version but based on those photos I prefer it!

Twin cutouts with fins for the 335i LCI is what I have high hopes for as a lower cost alternative to the m-sport rear bumper... even if we need
to wait a while lol.

I can probably organize within the next 2 weeks. Give me a day or two and I'll come back with a more definite time...
