Finally bought an Aluminum Baseball Bat for the car.

Last night, the girlfriend, her best friends, and I are coming out of a restaurant after dinner downtown. Her friends live downtown and said they'd walk home. And I had alcohol so the girlfriend was driving the car.

I walk over to the passenger side of the car (on the road) and hop in. Her friends are saying bye, and then some guy comes up to them and asks if they need a ride, cause he's offering. Fucking had a creepy smile on. Her friends were creeped out, girlfriend was creeped out, and I was alert as to what he might be trying to do. I get out of the car and tell the girls to get in the car, we'll drive them home no matter what. At this point, the dude walks off like 10 feet cause I'm present in the situation. Cool. So we all get in the car, the girls are in, and my gf is buckling her seatbelt, and I get in and close the passenger door.

Dude fucking comes back and starts staring at us a foot away from the driver side window. My girlfriend is ignoring it, but I'm furious as hell and looking to see if this guy was going to throw a beer bottle at my car, or kick it or something. Girlfriend insists we go and starts turning into traffic and this guy follows the car, and as we drive into traffic he chased after the car. Scared the shit out of my girlfriend and her friends, and my girlfriend floored the car down the block.

I was PISSSED. I kept telling my girlfriend to turn around the car cause no one fucking scares your girlfriend like that, or puts a dangerous environment into your night like that. She didn't and just ended up driving her friends home downtown. Afterwards, all I could think about was smashing this guy's face in or something. Ended up getting an aluminum baseball bat for the car cause I wanted to go back downtown and find this guy. Didn't find him. I wasn't gonna kill him or anything, but scaring him would have been satisfying. Grr. /rant.

I still remember what he looks like too, so next time I see his face downtown I'm going to pull over and give him something to think about. Fucking idiot.


tl;dr: guy offers to drive my gf's friends home. He was creepy. He walked away when I got out of the car, but chased after us when my gf started driving. I got an aluminum baseball bat cause I was pissed.


Any of you been through situations where someone scared your gf?
You guys keep anything in the car for things like this?

I drive through Newark, NJ everyday and dont carry anything in my car. never been in a position like this

its a good thing your girlfriend didnt turn around and instead sped away. I know youre pissed off but it was better to let it go. if hes there creeping again and endangering your night, bat comes out

Yeah that sucks but people do that shit all the time. We live in a fucking sick world. I dont know how the laws work in Canada, but out here, you could go to jail for attempted assault. Show the bat to scare him, he writes your plates down, cops show up at the door, your arrested and life is basically facked.

"What if he had a gun?" is a blanket statement. If you said that to yourself everytime, then maybe your girlfriend shouldn't bother linking her arms around you when you walk out at night. She's better off not being protected, cause everyone could have a gun and shoot her boyfriend. Right?

Chances are they most likely won't have a gun. It's not the US where you can easily obtain one..

isn't that such bullshit? Society nowadays will trial the guilty, but the annoying seem to get to roam free and do as they please.
