Well worth the wait. Simple install!!!

In my earlier BMWs I was accustomed to having All Alpine audio/video systems installed. With the purchase of my last 3 BMWs (06 E90, 08 E85 & 11 E93), I have been more in line to sticking with the stock system and upgrading the sound/video to meet my needs. I must say I have not been anywhere near as satisfied as I was with my Alpine systems until now. The Harmon Kardon Logic 7 system in my 2011 335is was nice at low or moderate volumes. Once you turn the volume beyond that, there was lots of clipping when reproducing a deep bass note. Yesterday I installed my BSW stage one….. Wow, I am impressed. The clarity and solidness of the system is simply amazing!! At high volume I notice there is still some clipping of the under seat subwoofer, so I ordered the Earthquake SWS8’s to replace them. I had plans of building a custom sub enclosure to hold 2 or 3 JBL 6W3’s in the cavity between the rear seat and trunk powered by an Alpine mono block amp, but, depending on how the Earthquake SWS8’s sound, I may not need it. I must say I am definitely impressed with my BSW Stage One upgrade and would recommend it to anyone looking for awesome sound with a stock appearance. I really wish BSW would have a replacement for the under seat subs for my E93. Well enough of this, time to ride and listen to some tunes…..

It has been well documented that the OEM amp cannot drive aftermarket woofers like the Esrthquakes.

Thanks!!! I read the post. Just got my reply from Technic for the harness he makes and have two Alpine mono block amps depending on which solution I decide to go with.....

I can't believe it.... I got a ticket for excessively loud music today.... Makes no damn sense, I do not even have my new subs in yet and the top was up.... Just somebody was pissed off today and decided to hate on my ride
