Phil: cheers! i bought a duke dynamics D4 bonnet and planned to paint it, I agree a contrast bonnet would look hideous, but now im not sure about whether to leave the bonnet stock.. partly because i was a bit unsure about the quality of the part from first inspection, it doesn't match the PP bits that have been fitted so far, and also because i don't want to go overkill. I'll probably leave the bonnet till last and see how things are looking by then... So CSL boot has moved up on the to-do list.

ELD70: Remap is booked in with DMS for friday. All-in (including declarations for future mods) insurance has gone up by about 60% and i have had to move insurers to achieve that.

Striking colour!

Similar to Audi Nogaro Blue, usually seen on 'S' and 'RS' cars.

Jedster, rims are vmr v710 in matt black, they've been made satin though.
You can pick them up at most alloy sellers, id recommend cm wheels for reps or direct from vmr (forum sponsors) for legit, mine are et 33 et 35 offset.

at santa pod last weekend.

carbon CSL bootlid (don't worry i'm painting it) and arkym front lip on their way next week.

Mentioned earlier i have fitted some performance mods which really need to give feedback on:
Birds / bilstein suspension, quaife differential, sway bars,
eagle F1 tyres
DMS remap (from 204bhp to 300bhp)
but there's plenty of info already on this forum about most of the above, if anyone wants to know though by all means ask & i can go on about how worthwhile they all are! Not cheap mods but i plan to keep the car a while and wanted to have them done early so i get my moneys worth, Every penny well spent in my opinion.

Remap graph:

Thats a crazy increase in power, almost 100 BHP, didnt know that was possible with a 325d - thought best you would get is 330d power !!

BTW did you buy your wheels from CM Wheels ?

on the LCI e92's the 325d drivetrain is exactly the same as the 330d, so your performance jumps to that of a 330d.

yeah i have bought from chris, he is friendly and honest in my experience.

Car looks great Alex, and polarised bolts are next on my list. I'm thinking lug conversion as skelts mentioned. Seemed a few cars with lug/ stud conversion at players and some really cool polarised nuts. Some had a bit of thread sticking out extra too, which I thought looked fairly cool.

Car looks amazing!

How many NM has the car now?

Have in mind that currently BMW dealerships can read the computer on your car and it makes some calculations on the checksum and it tells them if the car is remapped or not and this could result to loosing your warranty. Or at least this was the case with my car....
