Lemfoerder question

The guide supports (strut mounts) I need, p/n 31306775098, are $103 OEM from Tischer, $38.75 Lenfoerder from pelicanparts.com. The monstrous price difference almost makes me hesitate, OTOH I've read only good about Lendoerder including that they supply BMW with OE parts.

Thoughts?

If the Lemfoerder part is an 098 replacement, I would get it. I guess I trust L. because it's a brand owned by ZF, the company that makes transmissions & steering racks for BMW. Sachs is also a brand of ZF.

I tried to find your part on their web site but couldn't. I see the 943 replacement for $29. Do you have a link?

Sure enough. I would buy it. I don't know why BMW's price is so high, I mean there's nothing special about the part.

By the way, original parts from BMW are sometimes reasonably priced, but differences of 2X are common. The other part to buy from the OEM instead of BMW, is replacement shocks. For example, if you're looking for a set of ZSP shocks and can't find them used, get OEM Sachs or Bilstein.

Sometimes in realoem.com, BMW lists the OEM for the shock.

Pelicanparts is a great resource. Mahle, Bosch, Sachs, ZF, Bilstein, Lemfoerder, once you discover the catalogs of OEM replacements you can save quite a bit.
