Whatever you do, don't get "brake performance" brand rotors. I got them because of lifetime warranty on warping and cracking, but they warp within 10k miles.
Such a hassle to ship rotors back. |

Stoptech e-coated..are good choice,,but OEM is really good as well..
Also you have to consider which pads you are going to use..OEM pads are easy on the rotors and you get more life outta of em..higher friction pads will wear rotors quicker..what are your goals for the car? Zimmermans rust like mad.. |

Just want to let you know that BMW ABS system is made by Siemens. And Siemens use Chinese made bearings in their ABS products. If I remember it right the bearing brand is CW bearing. Japanese NSK used to supply Siemens the bearings but lost In price point. So, be careful what you say.

^ Dont forget to change the lines then. I'll be doing that in October with the fluid change. I also highly recommend the Motive Bleeder. That thing is awesome. I bled all 4 corners of a friends subaru in about 10 minutes. That included changing the fluid with Super Blue.

This just gave me the extra push go with the StopTech Stage 2 kit... rotors, pads, stainless steel lines, and fluid Now do anyone have a picture of them installed on an E92?

Here at **********s we suggest to our customers that want to do a brake upgrade while still within a reasonable budget to go with the StopTech street performance brake pads for the front, Centric Posi-quiet brake pads for the rear, front and rear StopTech slotted rotors, front and rear stainless steel brake lines, as well as 3 bottles of Motul RBF brake fluid. Roughly about 75-80% of your braking power is transferred to the front brakes which is why the front brake pads and rotors will go out twice as fast as the rear brakes. Stoptech manufactures an excellent pair of brake pads and rotors that will provide sufficient stopping distance above OE rotors and pads while minimizing brake dust and noise.

Black caliper will be the best choice if you want to keep a low profile! The Japanese always make their products delicate. Low key & magnificent, right? |
