Detailed maintenance records from day/mile one, all receipts since my ownership, dealer service records prior. Excellent oil analysis reports from Blackstone labs.

All maintenance documented, all receipts available. The dealer maintenance will also show up in a Carfax report.

Custom Modifications:

Valentine One radar detector hard wire. All wires hidden and power is drawn from the cigarette lighter fuse. Concealed display is integrated into the ashtray. VERY stealthy setup that requires only that you clip the V1 to the passenger’s sun visor and plug it in with the cable that’s hidden there. All you need is your own V1 unit.

Euro Rear Fog Lights activated using a 3D printed polycarbonate plunger to replace the one that BMW removes from the US cars to keep you from using the rear fog lights. *This is great for driving in fog or when you are being tailgated.

Suspension:

Suspension on my car is stock except for the genuine BMW M3 tension arms and lower control arms that replaced the worn original parts (the stock bushings go bad at 60k). This is the single best suspension mod you can do to a RWD Sport Package E90 series.

BMW used very soft oil-filled bushings in the suspension of non-M cars to compensate for the rock-hard run-flat tires fitted on new cars. The bushings soften the steering feel and deflect under hard cornering wearing out the outside edge of the front tires.

The rubber of these soft bushings cracks and the oil leaks out at about 60k miles. And this is NOT covered under CPO or Extended Maintenance.

Proper bushings were fitted to the M3's since run-flat tires were never fitted to the M cars.*The M3 lower control arms also increase negative camber which reduces understeer.

Looks like a nice, well maintained car.
Pretty rare too! I've been checking these forums for months to find a similarly packaged car. No BS options, just what matters. It's amazing how 80% of these are xi's, automatics or have huge outdated GPS's, etc. GL with your sale, I bet it doesn't last long.

I recommend to consolidate all of your posts into one for clarity.

Thanks kctim! You're right - everyone I've ever talked to that had a 6 Speed Manual 335i told me they had to spend months looking and then travel a good distance to get the car. In my case the CPO dealer I bought it from was 600 miles away (Northern California).

Beyond the fact that most E9x 335i's are sedans with Steptronic and chrome on the windows and a lot of those are xi's (which means no Sport Suspension and likely driven in snow), is the fact that the vast majority are not properly maintained.

A 300+ HP twin-turbo engine that only got oil changes every 15k miles, and a complex ZF automatic transmission that can handle over 300 lb/ft of torque and never got an ATF fluid change is not a formula low cost long term ownership.

Then there are the cars that never got driven (below 50k miles) and sell at a premium price. The BMW original warranty expired before any parts failed. But the same parts go bad on ALL these cars, and all at about the same mileage.

All those "low mileage" cars will all need: Electric Water Pump, Battery, Valve Cover Gasket, Oil Filter Housing Gasket, Fuel Injectors, intake valves cleaned, Spark Plugs, Brakes (the fronts can last to 50k on a highway driven car - mine did), and Transmission and Differential fluid change and walnut shell blast cleaning of intake valves. All that stuff has already been done on my car, and it was all between 48k and 72k miles.

Regarding the Ad: It was written for my website as a WordPress page:

http://cinematechnic.com/e92_335i

I found that formatting between WP and the software this site runs on was incompatible and I had to strip out all the formatting. So I did it section by section.

I'll be taking some better photos this weekend. Always a challenge to properly photograph a black car.

Thanks for the interest!

P.S. Apologies in advance if I take longer than I should to get back to your inquiries about the car. I'm in the process of prepping to move my business to a larger location and that is keeping me very busy.

Good thing I type fast...

I got asked about leaks - my car has zero leaks. That simple.

I have never needed to add oil to my N54 between oil changes. I've never gone more than 7k on an oil change, and it has never burned even 1/2 quart in 7k miles. The safety of 7k oil change interval for my combination of weather and driving style is confirmed by oil analysis results (Blackstone Labs).

In a colder/wetter climate, or for a tuned engine, that OCI my have to be shorter.

BTW - I used Castrol while my car was under extended warranty to avoid an potential additive compatibility issues by switching brands back-and-forth. I used either the German Castol 0W-30 on the new 5W-40, both are top line synthetics and BMW approved. The dealer would do the "required" C.B.S. oil changes every 14k or so, and I would do one in-between at around 7k. BMW OE filters were used.

My last dealer oil change was right around the time BMW was switching from Castrol to Shell. So for the most recent oil change (Apr 2016 and less than 3,000 miles ago) I switched to Mobil 1 0W-40.

BTW, planning to shoot some good pictures of the car this weekend, as long as the weather clears. It actually rained in L.A. last night!

Thanks for the interest. Keep an eye on this thread...

Took some new photos yesterday, added to the original post above.

BTW, forgot to mention: I am including a BMW M Mobility kit with the car since the tires are not run-flat. I've never needed to use it, but it's nice to have. It fits nicely under the trunk panel. I forgot to mention it because it's hidden down there.

TTT!

Update

Still available. Not in a rush to sell. Been too busy with moving my business and remodeling the new location.

A photo Ad for my car will be in the classified section of the print version of BMWCCA Roundel magazine March issue (readership 99,300). I always look at the Ads every month when I first get my issue in the mail and I figure a lot of others members do as well.

Just got the two door window tints replaced by Tony and Fransisco at STM Advanced Window Film Solutions in L.A.

The top-of-the-line Huper Optik ceramic window film on my car has a lifetime warranty (this was a warranty repair). The notorious wiper things on the E90 doors can cause even the best tint to peel. On the fixed windows the tint is in still in perfect condition.

Talking to some interested parties but the car is still available for the moment.

Still available... as I said before I am in no hurry to sell.

Price drop to $17,950.- and price is now firm. Title in hand. CA reg paid up - plates good till March 2018.

There are some interested parties and this car will likely be sold by the end of the month. If you've been lurking, now is the time to get in touch.
