What Aftermarket Muffler can I use on my 2008 E92

Hello everyone,

I am looking for a high flow muffler to replace my stock muffler like Magnaflow, etc... I want one that is not real loud. Anyone have any suggestions!

Thanks

Ive recently been looking into having a custom exhaust built from the header back, and I will most likely end up going with Vibrant Performance

Are those the tips that came on the magnaflow? Thinking about doing something similar, except without cat removal.

I definitely think the AA exhaust is a good buy. I purchased from X-ph and they were great to work with. (I'm deployed so I'm looking for some new goodies to buy for my 2012 E92 328i)

E92 2013... hope this helps

I had an AA exhaust for about 6 months and the drone was really rough and I couldn't keep loose change in the car. Because my parents would complain every time they got in my car I took it off. Aside from that it sounded great and with the AA tune which I had, it did increase performance. Now I have a magnaflow and not as loud, but because I'm a student in college and I drive a lot to go home, its way more comfotable. As almost any aftermarket exhaust you get will have a drone around 2k rpm, the magna flow isn't unbearable. Its all about preference in my opinion. If you don't want that much drone and don't want to put a huge hole in your pocket, id go magna flow. What sounds better? Putting drone aside, AA by far. I also recommend the AA tune if you are looking for some performance gains. I'm going to attach a link to the article they wrote based off my car which contains my dyno results.

Should have tried corking the AA exhaust while you still had it on.

Sounds like you should probably just stick with the BMW PE if you are looking for a reasonable volume.
