What I was trying to say is I need to find somewhere that is willing to fit parts I got myself. Would Andrew if happy to do that? Cos I know some places won't be happy if a customer didn't purchase from them.
They gotta be pretty up themselves if they're a workshop and refuse to install parts.

Do you have a tune? No point in those mods without one.

Yup got the Jb4 after much deliberation. Been reading all the tuner wars and became so confused I decided to get the cheaper one so I can change without feeling the pinch.

Must say my previous workshop did recommend me to go with a flash though...Dimsport to be specific.

You are going to have fun regardless which tune you go for

Haven't heard of "Dimsport" though.

Frankly, none of the flash tunes offer the functionality of the piggies. JB4 should work fine, but I can't take the fact that you need a separate CANtool when that's already integrated into the PROcede.

When you add the price of a BT tool it, there's not much difference.

What's a CANTool? Something seperate I need to get?
I was leaning towards Procede but was offered a Jb4, so I decided to give it a go.

I too had done all the reading on the piggybacks and decided with procede.
It came down to being able to access local support in Melbourne

That's right, it's a tool that BMS offers that reads codes for your car. The JB4 doesn't have one inbuilt so you'll need to purchase it separately. PROcede already has one integrated, and that's why there is a price discrepancy. They both cost the same in the end when added up, unless you're a baller and don't give a shit about throwing codes

Like armak mentioned, the BT tool is an excellent albeit expensive option. The BMS CANtool is cheaper and works fine but doesn't have a laptop interface.
